Towers of Hanoi

Privacy Policy

Effective November 7, 2026

The short version: Towers of Hanoi collects no data about you. It has no account, never connects to the internet, and has no ads, analytics, or tracking. Nothing you do in the app leaves your device.

What the app stores, on your device

The app keeps only the choices you make in Settings: the number of pegs, the number of discs, and whether Zen Mode and Landing Ghost are on. They are stored on your device so the app opens the way you left it. They are never sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them.

A game in progress is held in memory while the app is open and is not saved.

What the app does not do

Information Apple may share with us

If you have chosen in your device’s settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports and aggregate usage figures for the app. Apple controls that sharing; you can turn it off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements. We use crash reports only to fix bugs. Apple’s own handling of that data is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.

Email

If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you, and we don’t share it.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If the app ever begins collecting any data, this page will say so before that version is released.
